Skiatook Bulldogs

BOYS

Coach: Shane Branscum

2019-20 Record: 9-15

Despite having an inexperienced team, head coach Shane Branscum said they are ready and willing to work hard and get ready to play. Coach Branscum expects his team to play harder and tougher than anyone else on the floor. Alex Hollomon (6-1, Sr.) is a three-year starter and very good at getting to the rim. Last season he averaged 9.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists. Hollomon will start at guard with Kolby Pirtle (6-0, Sr.). Pirtle handles the ball well and has the knack for finding the open man. Pirtle accounted for 7.0 points, 2.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game last season. Austin Thomas continues to improve this offseason as he dedicated himself to the gym and the weight room. Cole Burris is another tough player that loves to rebound. SOMETHING TO WATCH – Hollomon has the most varsity experience of any player on the team. His willingness to do whatever it takes to help the team win is a big reason Skiatook could be successful this season.
