Coach: Scott Bowman

2019-20 Record: 23-5

The Webster Warriors will be fun to watch this season as they return four seniors, all of which have started since they were freshmen. “Should be one of, if not the best, Webster basketball team in history,” said coach Bowman. Anthony Pritchard (6-3, Sr.) is one of the top players in the state. Last year the point guard averaged 20 points, 6.0 assists and 5.0 rebounds with 4.0 steals a game. His play sets the tone for the Warriors. But do not sleep on Martwon Taylor (5-10, Sr.) at guard. Taylor is the best defensive player on the team and can average 26 points and 4.0 rebounds a game. Isaiah Sanders (5-10, Sr.) is a three-point shooter and a threat to open things up in transition. Sanders averaged 15 points and 3.0 rebounds last year. Jeremiah Barnes (6-3, Sr.) is a huge piece of the puzzle for the Warriors. The hard working forward makes the team go. Another player to watch is Trey Davis, an underclassman with a big ceiling. SOMETHING TO WATCH – The Warriors have two players with more than 1,000 points in their careers. Pritchard has 1,554 while Taylor has 1,069. Pritchard has offers from Tulsa, K-State, ORU, Utah State, UMKC, Troy and others.
